If given the opportunity, I would 100% go see one of his works. He seemed like he had a genuine passion for music and art, and his contribution is pretty timeless, and went on to influence future composers. It appeared as though he lived most of his life in France, and could be seen performing in many settings over the years. Truly a lover of dance, he would dance and play violin in the street as a young child. His talent was appreciated pretty quickly it seemed, and he soon performed for the royal court at events such as royal weddings or military victories.
